The ship’s manifest (SS Friesland) for immigration to US lists her nearest relative as her mother “Mrs. O’Brien” Steelgreen, Millom. It also states that she is coming to join a relative (cousin), Miss Sarah McCann, 127 W. Fischers Lane, Olney, Philadelphia”. The document describes her as 5’6″ medium complexion, brown hair, blue eyes – born in Millom, England.
She died on May 5, 1970 in Havertown, PA and is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
